Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara is one of the largest and leading educational institutions established by Late Padmabhushan Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil in 1919 with the motto ‘Education Through Self-Help’.

Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Mahavidyalaya, Pandharpur, affiliated to Solapur University, Solapur was established by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara in June 1960 and Library was also established in 1960
